Biography
I am Tarazul Mulk Syed Anzam Hossain, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Coordinator in the Department of Automobile Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB). With more than eight years of experience in higher education, I have developed a strong foundation in teaching, academic leadership, research, and student mentorship, driven by a deep commitment to educational excellence and innovation.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Rajshahi (RU) and completed my Master’s degree in Nanomaterials and Ceramic Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in the same field. My multidisciplinary academic background has enabled me to integrate materials science, nanotechnology, ceramics, and engineering concepts into both my teaching and research activities.
At WUB, I am actively engaged in academic coordination, curriculum development, undergraduate supervision, and student mentoring. I am particularly committed to creating a student-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and the practical application of engineering knowledge. My research interests include Advanced Ceramics, Nanomaterials, Sustainable Materials, and Nuclear Materials, with a focus on developing innovative materials and technologies for practical and sustainable applications. I have contributed to research publications and conference presentations in these areas, reflecting my commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and engineering practice.
In addition to my teaching and research responsibilities, I contribute to institutional development through academic committees, curriculum planning, quality assurance activities, student development initiatives, and community engagement. I believe that effective engineering education should combine strong theoretical foundations with practical skills, ethical responsibility, and awareness of emerging technological challenges.
Looking ahead, my goal is to contribute to academic excellence, impactful research, and technological advancement in Bangladesh through dedicated scholarship, innovative research, effective teaching, and academic leadership. I aspire to inspire the next generation of engineers and researchers while contributing meaningfully to the development of sustainable and advanced technologies for society.
