About Club

The purpose of the World University Automobile Club (WUBAC) is to create a platform a platform for all who are passionate about automobiles, sustainable mobility, and innovative engineering solutions. Through this club, we bring our classroom knowledge to life with workshops, projects, industry visits, and national competitions.

Our vision is to inspire and cultivate a passion for automotive excellence and innovation, building a strong community of future leaders who are dedicated to advancing technology.

Mission

Our mission is to enhance our knowledge and skills in automobile engineering by creating opportunities for hands-on experience, seminars with industry experts, research initiatives, and factory visits.

Activities

  • We organize workshops and training sessions on CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and design software.
  • We arrange seminars and guest lectures to connect with industry professionals and alumni.
  • We take part in hands-on projects and research, developing prototypes and innovative solutions.
  • We represent WUB in competitions and hackathons, showcasing our creativity and teamwork.
  • We engage in community outreach, spreading awareness of sustainable practices.

Goals

  1. Innovation and Research: Foster a culture of creativity and technical inquiry by encouraging students to develop prototypes, conduct research, and explore emerging technologies in electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid systems, autonomous driving, and sustainable mobility solutions.
  2. Community Engagement: Apply automotive knowledge for social impact through initiatives such as free vehicle check-up camps, road safety awareness programs, and technical training for local mechanics, contributing to community development and public welfare.
  3. Teamwork and Leadership: Build strong collaborative skills by organizing group projects, design challenges, and team-based competitions that promote leadership, responsibility, and effective communication among members.
  4. Professional Development: Enhance technical and soft skills through workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and certification programs in automotive diagnostics, vehicle dynamics, and modern manufacturing practices.
  5. Career Readiness: Prepare students for successful careers in the automotive industry by connecting them with internships, industry mentors, and job opportunities, while strengthening employability through real-world project experience.
  6. National Competitions: Represent WUB on national platforms by actively participating in and organizing automotive challenges, robotics races, and engineering expos to showcase talent, gain recognition, and benchmark skills against top institutions.

Policies / Membership

  • Membership is open to all students of Automobile Engineering as well as other engineering programs at WUB.
  • We recruit through interviews, and a small semester fee helps us run our activities.
  • Membership is renewed every half-year to keep our community active and vibrant.
